I'm pleased to say that my quest to only do one voice (Dave Ross) has been fruitful thus far. In that i mean that found someone to voice the Hermit. Tom Nevitt is the guy. Heap praise on him, should you pass him on the street. Ta ta for now!

Starring Role up for Grabs

Yes, that's right The role of the Doctor is up for grabs for Series 2 and 3 and then the 2 movies. This is because, after reviewing the circumstances, I decided it was best to stick to one main voice and just writing and animating. So I will remain in the role for episode 2, but I would like a new voice for the doctor by Episode 3.

Done - Pretty Much

Well what a difference a week makes. about a week ago I was moaning about not getting it done etc, but now all I need is to sort out a bit of audio and then it'll be done. here's a screenshot

Huzzah for I just completed the powerpoint. all that remains is to sort out the audio, finlise the timings, record the powerpoint and finalise the pice with WMM. That'll take around about an hour so I will meet my deadline!

I have recieved the voices of 2 major characters of PDW s2. I still need to record the rest and get audio from a few other select cast members.

Series 3 has been planned out and is now in the rough draft stages of writing as well as a full 100 min (approx) screenplay for PDW: The Movie

The results are in. thanks to the 5 people who voted. whomever you are!

anyway it was Live action 60%, Series 40%

So that means that there will be a live action special sometime next year.

But do not fret, there will also be a shorter series consisting of 6 or 7 episodes around autumn time (or Fall for those across the pond). I'm also toying with the idea of making a full length feature movie, around 100 minutes long, but that depends on whether or not I can get Adobe flash. that would be 2010.

3 Things

OK I have a bit to go through so bear with me

• My Laptop is in the buggered phase of its life, which means nothing initially however there could be repercussions in PDW (delays and what not)
• The Comic Relief thing is a Batman themed thing. NOT a Batman spoof, but a plot developed as a parody of the plot of The Dark Knight. It will be based around Yutube and the community around it.
• I am very much leaning towards the Live Action option next year however I can confirm that a series of at least 7 episodes will be made for Autumn '09

Anyway onto more pressing matters. I recently discovered a flash cartoon series known as "Go Go Parody Rangers". Its brilliant, however it does raise an issue. That is that a lot of the material in the Pixon's Power Rangers draft. So instead of doing the hard thing and being original and rewriting, i'm now doing something new. I'd like to do an original comedy for Comic relief but we all know thats not gonna happen. Watch this space for updates

Due to complications of the pain in the arse variety, Dan, the current artist is going to pull out of drawing the comic, after finishing the first episode Framed. Now this is a large blow to both of us, but the process had gotten too slow and annoying.

hay all, new clip for you to enjoy. clip goes fuzzy near the end for some godforsaken reason but who cares! I actually got something finished. And it looks half decent. happy day.

Updates and stuff

Right a few updates to get through.

The first is the C-box... y'know that blue thing on your left. yeah please feel free to write a comment in that or ask a question. You never know, I may even respond.

right second is the comic thing. Framed (the first issue) is at 30%. I'm gonna put a status bar on the left so folk know where the comic is. It wont update regularly or have a schedule. It'll update when its done.

third update is that as i get bored easy, every now and then I'll post up a PDW character profile.

Web Comic updates

Howdy-ho folks

The update schedule for the comic is gonna be a wee bit shaky. The cover will be up tomorrow (or maybe Friday Morning). Then the first real issue will be up on Saturday. the next on Monday. This will begin a Monday, Wednesday, Friday update system until after the exam period (16th of June) when it will turn into an every day update system)
Hopefully I will be able to build up the buffer

The first promotional image has been made for the webcomic thingy. It will be delayed a week due to my laptop going out of commission for a week so expect the whole thing to start on May 1st. That makes the aniversarry date so much easier to remember

well the animated part anyway.

The series will be done in comic form, so as to void the crappiness of MS powerpoint animation (it works for PDW because thats meant to be crap).

All the stories can carry on as normal, they will just be split up into smaller sections and converted into comic mode

so... it should start next week! woo

Couple of announcements to make. The first is that I fixed my WMM issue so production on PDW can officially start.
The Second is a Pixon's Doctor Who DVD. Now due to copyright laws I'm not sure i'f I can sell this I'll have to look it up (If I cant I'll probably just give them away free).

Doctor Who: The Animated Series - writers for Series 2

OK we have a few writers for series 2 of Doctor Who The Animated Series

The first is Stattox (not much known about this person)
The second is NYPulphero. (we are lucky to get this guy on board as his stuff is something good and different - hopefully like our moffat )
The third is a fellow called Quantum (again not read much of this guys work)
The fourth is Tomkatten (see 1 and 3)
and finally there is clarissima (which i'm hoping will bring a new dynamic to the series)

These new writers will hopefully bring good diversity to the team (now there is 7 of us more than the real dr who had in its 1st series ^^(although the 1st series only has 2 writers - quite humbling))

I have two new projects lined up. The first is the Ten Doctors which is basically me trying to go straight on my own. It'll be lin the form of the classic series with a cliffhanger at the end of each 10 minute ep

The second is something completely non-who related (shock, horror) which is gonna be a feature length adventure starring completely original characters (i wont have to give anyone copyright - hooray). that will be put up in parts due to Youtube's annoying video system. Expect the Ten doctors to be dotted out over the year and The other thing thats not Doctor Who (working title) sometime next year.

Doctor Who: The Animated Series

Yes, The series no ones been waiting for. Myself and my writing partner Darklordoftime (well one of my writing partners anyway) are making a serious series of 13 7 min-ish episodes. The series features the return of such villains as Sea Devils and Axons. It sees new enemies such as LokiBots, Vampyres, Chamelions and Strykrs.

Stars DarklordofTime as The Eleventh Doctor and Pixon1 as Alex Metts. The first episode might guest star the timelordfromhell himself. keep it tuned.
